As a first time home buyer and new to the area, I relied on Exemplary Real Estate’s expert advise about the market and areas to buy in. For the house I ended up buying, there were a few significant changes that I thought would be nice, such as adding a fireplace and walling off a room. Jana recommended that we ask for these changes when we submitted the offer and also recommended the price I should come in at given the changes requested. The builder accepted the price AND all the changes the very next day and I am so pleased with how everything turned out. Without Jana’s expert advice I likely would not have asked for those changes. Christine Downing-Hughes was our realtor. She was extremely helpful to us during the selling process of our home. During this process, we had two separate major insurance claims (flooded floor due to water line leak & hailstorm that required replacing roof) that we had to deal with and Christine and her assistant, Jasmine McGhie, helped coordinate schedules for repair crews, insurance adjusters, inspectors, etc. They always made sure they were at the home when needed and kept an eye on our home since we had moved out of state after we listed the home. Christine and Jasmine kept our house in good order / clean and notified us if we had to do anything while the home was on the market. Christine was also very helpful in providing guidance to us related to the various offers we received on the house. We had a very difficult buyer we had to deal with and Christine helped get us through that as well.
